9/11 is a special day for me (as it is for all Americans) for 2 reasons.
REASON #1– Needless to say 9/11/01 is when for once this country truly became united because of the terrorist attack on our nation. That was a day (and many days to follow) that most of the people of this great nation didn’t see if you were a Democrat or Republican, whether you are white, black, brown, or green, the only thing that mattered was that you were a citizen of the United States and we were one.
This year, 9/11/19, I am especially proud that my 16-year-old granddaughter, Carly was an intern this summer at the 9/11 Museum Events and helped prepare for the Anniversary Ceremony, handing out specialty ribbons to all the families. Her dad, my son-in-law, VIP LT. SCOT POMERANTZ for the WTC, and all of his fellow brothers, work extermely hard each day, helping keep the World Trade Center Safe.
REASON #2– On 9/11/70 I resigned from the I.R.S. as a field agent and opened my own accounting/forensic investigations office. So, today I proudly celebrate my 49th year of the opening of my office. I have enjoyed every second of my career and have met many people who have become very special to me.
